Baby Spice is a fully body, anatomically correct soft silicone newborn baby boy. He is limited to only 15 in his edition worldwide! Spice is 15 inches with one leg extended straight. Spice has a special tummy that is round, a sign of a very healthy newborn baby. Spice's neck is fused. He is perfectly recreated in solid Platinum based silicone. Each tiny wrinkle and crease has been carefully captured and painted using a multi layered technique to give depth and realism to the skin. Ana uses only the best silicone pigments and paints that can be purchased. Many, many hours of research and work has gone into creating this premature 27 week gestation baby. Layer by layer Spice has been brought together to capture the ultimate in realism. This baby was originally designed as a television and movie baby. But now Ana has opened up the edition to private collectors. Ana is hoping to get 15 dolls out of this edition, not including the artist's proof. Baby SPICE is an anatomically correct baby boy and to the scale of a 27 week gestation infant, 15 inches from crown to toes with one leg extended to straight, the head circumference is 10 inches. Ana has made the mouth open, carefully capturing the tongue, gums and roof of the mouth. His mouth will accept hospital type equipment and or pacifiers! The doll in the photograph is the 1st prototype which is NOT available to buy. The neck is FUSED on this baby but due to the silicone being extremely soft, there is a lot of flexibility but the head will not be able to move OR be detached. Each doll will be painted using the layered technique. Ana will be painting the hair on Spice and not rooting hair. You can request to have an unpainted baby head. The baby will come dressed in an appropriate outfit of Ana's choosing. No kits are to be made of this baby as Ana wants each doll in this edition to be of her own creation closely resembling each other.
